Arriving in Pittsburgh, passengers originating in Chicago will be able to make an easy connection to the Chicago-bound Capitol Limited.

In observance of the Grand Central Terminal's 100th Anniversary, Metro North Railroad, our host for the Centennial Parade of Trains weekend celebration, has invited several private cars to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime event.Having our private cars open for press, VIP and public viewing is a Metro North mandated prerequisite for participation. Also, Amtrak does not allow occupied parking of private cars in busy Sunnyside Yard. Therefore, even though we would love to have our passengers have unlimited access to the BERLIN at all times, this is just not possible.Passengers must make hotel arrangements on their own for the evenings of May 8 and May 12 (See listing of suggested hotels below).Thank you for your understanding.
