A PROUD CONTRIBUTOR TO COMMUNITY EVENT PROMOTIONS

Amateur Radio is a public service that encourages people to learn more about wireless communication via radio, television, computer, satellite, and other experimental means. Operators must pass a test and become licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). FORT WARD AMATEUR RADIO CLUB operate under regulations published in Part 97 of the U. S. Code of Federal Regulations. There are five classes of licenses. Listed from the beginner-level to the most advanced, the classes are; Novice, Technician, General, Advanced, and Amateur Extra. The service has been part of the American culture since 1915, and is often referred to as "ham" radio. Practitioners have contributed substantially to public safety, international goodwill, and the growth of advanced technology. Modern cell-phone technology, for example, was first created by amateur radio operators.

FORT WARD AMATEUR RADIO CLUB, shortwave radio services that connects worldwide communities, including across the North American Continent of Canada, Mexico and United States and missions and visionary programs plays a major role in supporting the community social, economic and environmental growth of communities. In addition to providing emergency axillary communication services and participate in emergency action organizations, Amateur Radio and shortwave Services would also be significant source of volunteer programs, employment and purchasing support equipment and services. However, FORT WARD AMATEUR RADIO CLUB commitment to communities involvement is on going.

FORT WARD AMATEUR RADIO CLUB plans to actively promoted community events, fundraising activities, and charitable contributions to foundations in the many communities that foster amateur radio and shortwave services. Thus FORT WARD AMATEUR RADIO CLUB would be proud to promote community traditions and public/private Events. Our goal is to provide a wide variety of partnerships and contributions that allow local, regional, national and international organizations to promote community visibility and services community events need to succeed.

Is your community organization or public event eligible?

FORT WARD AMATEUR RADIO CLUB prefer to help organizations that allow amateur radio and shortwave radio services to actively take part in community activities. As this type of public and private partnership relationship permits FORT WARD AMATEUR RADIO CLUB to make various contributions in exchange for increased visibility.

Community Organizations that are relevant to FORT WARD AMATEUR RADIO CLUB and Amateur Radio and Shortwave Radio Mission, that involve business and individuals who would potentially have interest in FORT WARD AMATEUR RADIO CLUB products and services are preferred.

Specifically, FORT WARD AMATEUR RADIO CLUB favour activities that are related to amateur radio and shortwave radio business improvements, travel and tourism, that attract regional out-of-town attendees, national travel opportunities, international visitors and that offer broadcasting advertising opportunities involving Amateur Radio and Shortwave radio communities. FORT WARD AMATEUR RADIO CLUB is a good corporate citizen, allows FORT WARD AMATEUR RADIO CLUB to increase awareness of club product and services, as well as the community.

FORT WARD AMATEUR RADIO CLUB Charitable Contributions would be to offer Amateur Radio Educational Exhibits, shortwave radio display, and contributions in available in service exchanges, but not limited too.

Types of support FORT WARD AMATEUR RADIO CLUB considers:

  • Community Joint Partnerships benefiting foundations or offering support to special interest or community involvement groups through a service commitment or an in-kind donation.

  • Community Event in Public Relations Partnerships, that would provide overall experience of amateur radio and shortwave radio participating in event activities.

  • Media Partnerships, that benefit amateur radio industry and shortwave radio organizations.
