Since October 12, 2005 the City Of Auburn took on National Railway Photography Industry with intent to stop railway photographers from photographing rail traffic in Auburn, Washington. City officials accused ATD LINES Railway Imaging Services of trespassing on Burlington Northern Santa Fe Property, during an official photography assignment for Railway Business Car Services, which BNSF Western Division John Karl Authorized.

However, corruption of Auburn City employees, administration and within Auburn City Police Department, began misleading BNSF Agents and corporate personnel, with false and misleading information in order to gain a conviction to prevent Railway Industry Photography.

The Cities Tactical Court Procedure, was to provide ATD LINES with incompetent and discriminatory defense attorneys who were not educated in railway legal affairs, nor had knowledge of railway operations, nor understanding the railway transportation industry. Thus were unable to communicate with BNSF and ATD LINES on Railway Safety Guidelines, Directives and Policy Procedures that govern the Railway Industry, which includes Railway Photography Industry.

ATD LINES Defense Attorney Steve Johnson, began business legal litigating approach with City of Auburn, that railway industry have rights to conduct business in a manor that is recognized between agreeing parties and industry standards of operations does not require that railway photography industry to notify local cities of there presences or assignment mission.

ATD LINES Railway Photography Division under Railway Imaging Services, is a recognized leader in producing profesional railway images and recognized as part of railway industry by all operating railways. Therefore after many years of litigation with City of Auburn, Judge Burns, dismissed case against ATD LINES.
