Louis Alloin, Governmental Affairs Director for American Train Destination Lines attended the King Street Station Centennial Celebration, held in Bertha Landers Room, Seattle City Hall.

Roger Jacobsen, repesenting BNSF provided a discusion on future of King Street Station and need to improve railway industy. Briefly discused ATD LINES Railway Business Car Services, along with Waterfront Development Project as applied to Washington State Railway improvements over celebration cake and refreshments.

Mr. Alloin also discussed Sound Transit Improvements with Martin Young, who represented Sound Transit.

Artist J.Craig Thorp unvieled the new railway poster celebrating the King Street 100 years.

Mr Alloin and other representatives of Washington State Railway Industry, all acknowlodge that great advances have been make in Seattle Railway Industry, but all representatives were in agreement that much more improvement are required in the future.

Martin Young Stated, ATD LINES, is looking at the "Big Picture" of the overall transportation system improvement requirements for effective system operations in Seattle.

The 2 hour celebration, provided rewarding discusion on the need to further improve Seattle's railway passenger services industry.
