Southwest Chief & Empire Builder Regular Service was restored on July 1, 2008. California Zephyr Service on the California Zephyr between Denver and Chicago, which has been suspended since June 13 due to flooding in Iowa, is expected to resume on July 5th. The first trains that are currently scheduled to operate over the entire Zephyr route are train #5 originating in Chicago on July 5th and train #6 originating in Oakland on July 4th. |
