Established in 2021 Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club as an independent and separate 501(C)3 organization, the Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club administrates programs to support the Amateur Radio Community. The Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club advances the arts in radio technology, science and societal benefits of the amateur radio community service by scholarships to individuals, provide electronic education knowledge base, scientific electronic research, support community engagements, emergency radio axillary communications, youth incentive program and local-regional-national-international goodwill fellowships.

Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club, funded by certified memberships and by the generous contributions of foundations, societies, associations, radio amateurs, friends in electronics, business contributions and citizens, for community amateur radio services, awards, education, amateur radio projects, and special electronic program grants for meritorious membership program.

Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club, governed by a member volunteer "Board of Directors", the Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club is devoted to providing valuable programs to serve the Amateur Radio Community. The Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club Board of Directors is nominated and elected by the Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club FCC Licensed Members, whom are voting members. The Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club Officers are elected by the Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club Board, and include a President, Vice President, Treasurer,Secretary and other department officals.

The Bainbridge island Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club/FWARC was organized in recognition of the Bainbridge Ialand Naval Radio Station during World War II.

Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club is affiliated with the many Federal,State Agencies, including national organizations and associatons within emergency disaster community emergency response team/CERT. along with RACES, Seattle Auxiliary Radio, Western Washington Medical Team, MARS, ARES and other affiliations.

Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club provides emergency communication assistance,provides adult inconstant diaper pad to senior/elderly communities and provides help to Bainbridge Island homesless people in crises, including the blood drive initiatives is our community enagament leadership.
