Seattle National Train Day Planning Committee is raises funds to put on the "NATIVE AMERICAN POW-WOW" in Seattle, Washington.

The Seattle National Train Day Planning Planning committee has started Sponsorships of selected events and items: If you or your organization is interested in sponsoring any of the items below please send an email to Seattle National Train Day Planning committee Executive Chairmen, Louis Alloin.

The cost of putting on the Seattle National Train Day Planning is estimated at $30,000.00. The Seattle National Train Day recognizes the contributions of all of our railway and NATIVE AMERICAN POW-WOW Industries, as such we hope the entire community participates and welcome all sponsors and donations from the private sector.

Note: All members of the Seattle National Train Day Planning Committee are volunteers, none are paid for their services with 99.9% of all funds going to directly support, promote and present the Seattle National Train Day "NATIVE AMERICAN POW-WOW".

The Seattle National Train Day Association community developed a vision for a larger and better Seattle National Train Day Event. As Seattle National Train Day "NATIVE AMERICAN POW-WOW" is expected to draw an estimated 35,000 spectators. As with most things, the bigger and the better, the more expensive.

We would like to bring in a higher profile of NATIVE AMERICAN POW-WOW for future Seattle National Train Day with a number of activities planned around NATIVE AMERICAN POW-WOW, and recoup some of the expense of the "NATIVE AMERICAN POW-WOW" production. Seattle National Train Day we plan to obtain more equipment, banners, sashes and other gear giving the "NATIVE AMERICAN POW-WOW" a more professional look and saving some expenses in the future.

Spectators are reminded to stay away from tracks, moving trains, yards, railroad structures as in: bridges, trestles, towers, signals, wires, rail equipment and the railroad right-of-way.

Spectators must not trespass on railroad property or on private property adjacent to the railroad. Obtain permission first.

Stay in public access areas such as stations, rail crossings, sidewalks, buildings. highway bridges, parking lots, highways, overpasses, national forest & parks, state/city public parks and public waterfront area. Obtain permission if accessins private property.

All Spectators agree to assume the risk of harm and release Amtrak, Amtrak Cascades, Sound Transit, ATD LINES, National Train Day Assocation and All Operating Railways from all liability for personal injury and loss of property.

Spectators are reminded that railroad tracks, trestles, yards and equipment are private property and that trespassers are subject to arrest and fines.

Some stations served by Amtrak, Amtrak Cascades, Sound Transit Trains and Operating Railways require advance permission for Spectators photography.

Always obey all contest, railway rules and Federal-Regional-State-Local Laws.

Always be safe and use common sense. As much of railroad property is not fenced, nor are property lines marked, thus difficult to determine where railroad property begins & ends.
