Success in implementing the central Waterfronts initiatives of creating a long term maritime heritage district plan, must be based on the Seattle's ability to recognize how the various maritime industries fits into the overall scheme of integrating maritime "choices" into an overall city's transportation system.


It should be the Central Waterfront project intent, to provide necessary leadership, to transfer maritime knowledge to create and develop a dynamic central waterfront program that allows a diversity of opportunities for all to utilize the waterfront.
