TALL SHIPS ON SEATTLE WATERFRONT

The Seattle Central Waterfront Tall Ship Project is an organization based on building a better community. Our mission is to build unity across all economic sectors; to organize, empower, and defend our central waterfront tall ships project and bring better opportunity to our citizens in Seattle.

  • The Central Waterfront Non-Profrof Organization is grateful to those who provide time and expertise and willingness to volunteers and the difference their efforts make for our community. The Tall Ship Project will be founded on the efforts of dedicated volunteers.

  • Tall Ship Project Volunteers will play a vital role working alongside staff members to jointly reach our goals to make the central waterfront piers suitable for visit tall ships with concept of historical preservation of piers.

  • Tall Ship Project Volunteers are members of a unified team. As team members, we believe volunteers should be treated with respect, dignity, humility, and as equals. Volunteers help with a variety of essential tasks that help the operations run smoothly, ranging from manual labor and administrative support to teaching and project management.

  • Tall Ship Project Volunteers are our allies. They believe in, support, and want to be a part of our mission, our values, our history, our culture, and our fight for social justice.

  • Tall Ship Project Volunteersrepresent the commitment to preserve the central waterfront heritage while at the same time a representative of historical preservation within the community and to the wider public interest of preservation of Seattle's history.

  • Tall Ship Project Volunteering provides an opportunity to get to know and build relationships with Seattle’s diverse residents involved in maritime preservation.

  • Tall Ship Project Volunteers should come with an open mind, a positive attitude, and the willingness to follow-through on commitments they make to the preservation of Seattle maritime history.

  • Tall Ship Project Volunteers are an investment of time in exchange for the opportunity to make a difference in the Seattle Central Waterfront by helping to promote historical maritime history and create community changes.

  • Tall Ship Project Volunteers extended family and have the opportunity to get to know and contribute to Seattle's maritime culture and our collective diversity to preserve the central waterfront maritime history.

  • Tall Ship Project Volunteers will receive training about our mission, vision, history, culture, and social impact, as preservation of central waterfront history,as well as specific job related training. You will be given clear instructions, specific tasks and the necessary resources to complete tasks.
