PURPOSE AND INTENT: Proceeds from Donations, Bequests, Grants, Sponsors and other fundraising programs will directly benefit the Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club, Community Engagements, in pursuit of its many Bainbridge Island Projects, including acquiring funds to match a large government grant toward procurement of " fundamental Radio Commmunications Equipment Objects, but not limited too operation of the "Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club Activities", Island Event Promotions, Emergency CERT, Blood Drives, Youth Development, Electronic Electromagnetic Programs, Public Services and Special Educational Excurision and Island Historical Preservation.

The Bainbridge island Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club/FWARC was organized in recognition of the Bainbridge Ialand Naval Radio Station during World War II. Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club is affiliated with the many Federal,State Agencies, including national organizations and associatons within emergency disaster community emergency response team/CERT. along with RACES, Seattle Auxiliary Radio, Western Washington Medical Team, MARS, ARES and other affiliations. Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club provides emergency communication assistance,provides adult inconstant diaper pad to senior/elderly communities and provides help to Bainbridge Island homesless people in crises, including the blood drive initiatives is our community enagament leadership.
