Fort Ward Amateur Radio Repeater Group will currently sponsors, free use of 3 VHF and 3 UHF (50 & 100 watt) repeaters connectivity to distant repeater clubs, which is an open system and available to all responsible amateurs radio club repeaters, within Pacific Northwest Peninsula region of Washington, who seek a nice sounding system and connectivity to Pacific Northwest Peninsula. Fort Ward, Bainbridgee Island has large coverage area in Pacific Northwest Peninsula region of Washington State. Fort Ward Amateur Radio Repeater Group, supports club social nets, public service for welfare messages, amateur radio repeater peninsula emergency relief communications and disaster response to assist governmental agencies to resume normal communications, should local public agencies experience compromised communications.
