HQ 26th Artillery Group (AD) (12/61-3/66) at Fort Lawton which replaced the 31st Brigade when it moved, and HQ 49th ADA Group (3/66-8/74). With the 7th ARADCOM Region being disbanded on 1 April 1966,the areas of responsibility of the 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th ARADCOM Regions were reorganized. The 115th Artillery Brigade (Air Defense) was a corresponding Washington Army National Guard formation.

2nd Battalion redesignated as the 20th Anti Aircraft Artillery Battalion Redesignated 13 March 1952 as the 20th Anti Aircraft Artillery Gun Battalion Activated 8 May 1952 at Fort Lewis, Washington Redesignated 1 May 1953 as the 20th Antiaircraft Artillery Battalion Inactivated 20 December 1957 at Phantom Lake, Bellevue, Washington

Between 1952 and 1957, the Army's Anti Aircraft Artillery/AAA Battery B Camp established an encampment at Winslow, Yeomalt Point, Grand Ave, Bainbridge Island, Washington. Encampment had Four 90mm and four 120mm, with troop barracks, support buildings and other armored vehicles (Fort Lawton, Seattle, Washington Army's Anti-Aircraft Artillery Headquarters)

Several permanent sites were established for the "Army's Anti-Aircraft Artillery/AAA Camps, the precursor to the NIKE AJAX Missile Defense.

  • Bainbridge Island (Yeomalt Point/Grand Ave) (1952-1957) 120mm/90mm guns: (S-)
  • O'Brien Washington (date) (guns): (S-41).
  • Bellevue Washington (date) (guns): (Phantom Lake) Boeing Plant (S-12).
  • Seattle Washington (date) (guns): (S-71).
  • Seattle Washington (date) (guns): (S-60).

  • On 4 August 1942, Battery F, was assigned to man the 37mm guns emplacement at Agate Passage and Rich Pass, in the vicinity of Bremerton Naval Installations. Two of the guns were emplaced on the North side of Agate Passage, on the Old Port Madison Indian Reservation. Another gun was emplaced at Beans Point near Old Fort Ward and the fourth was emplacement at Orchard Point across Rich Pass. All four guns combined were known as AMTB #1 (Anti Motor Torpedo Boat/AMTB).

    On 1 March 1944, Battery F (detachment of 10 men) was brought back to Fort Worden from their positions at Agate Passage and Rich Pass. The ten man detachment was to continue to man the defenses at Agate Passage under a modified plan. Battery F Redesignated Battery A, 169th Coast Artillery Battalion (HD), 17 October 1944.

    NOTE: Orchard Point, Agate Passage and Beans Point, would have be emplaced, if necessary, guns and equipment were in storage at Fort Worden, Port Townsend, Washington
